friends who really know you always understand, or try to, the reasons behind your actions. and if your behavior was out of the ordinary or just plain fucked up, they wouldn’t be quick to judge. they’d be quick to worry about why you’ve chosen the paths taken. friends that could care less about the true reasons behind your acts? well, they just want to add your funny little story to their gossip. that’s the difference between friends made from your hometown and friends made in college.

i’m having a very difficult time trusting anybody i’ve met after high school… i wish some people would just step out of their worlds sometimes and try to look at things differently.
